Dominion and Fox News reach settlement in defamation lawsuit

Fox Corporation and Fox News reached a $787.5-million US settlement in a defamation lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems on Tuesday, preventing a high-profile trial with the media company over its coverage of false vote-rigging claims in the 2020 U.S. election. President and CEO of Media Matters Angelo Carusone thinks Dominion left money on the table and that this settlement will not change how Fox News disseminates the news.
