Elon Musk’s Starship Explosion Was DELIBERATE!
Even when it includes rockets exploding in the sky, trial and error is an essential part of success. When SpaceX’s enormous Starship rocket launched from Southern Texas on Thursday morning and exploded a few minutes later over the Gulf of Mexico, it attracted global attention. However, what would be considered a blazing disaster actually offers important knowledge into a historic rocket that is essential to NASA’s mission to go back to the moon and possibly beyond, according to aerospace experts. Why did the SpaceX Starship explode? Is it deliberate? Why did the FAA grounded SpaceX just minutes after the explosion? Let’s find out all in this episode!

SpaceX’s enormous rocket never made it into space and disintegrated into a fireball over the Gulf of Mexico just four minutes after it set off from its Texas launch site.
Although SpaceX hasn’t yet provided much information about what transpired during Starship’s first flight, one thing is certain: It was given the go-ahead to explode.
When there is even the slightest possibility that falling debris could endanger human life, rockets are destroyed in the air. No serious accidents or property damage appear to have been reported in the days after the uncrewed test.
Some of the 33 booster engines on the rocket, which was launched on April 20, 2023, at 9:33 AM ET, had either burned out or failed to ignite. The flames beneath the Starship were captured on camera as it rose, and it appeared like some of the engines had cut out from the view of the flames.
After the disaster, SpaceX claimed in a statement that Starship soared to a height of around 26 miles over the Atlantic before starting to lose altitude and crash. The booster and spacecraft were then given instructions to self-destruct because they hadn’t separated as intended, according to the company.
Dan Dumbacher, executive director of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, said in a report that it is not entirely obvious what finally caused that disintegration.
“Now it’s a pure race as to whether the flight termination system initiates the vehicle up or the aerodynamic pressure does,” he said, “but it really doesn’t matter because the end result is the same.”
Reasons for using flight termination systems
The Space Force’s Space Launch Delta 45 is in charge of managing the Eastern Range in Florida, which includes Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Kennedy Space Centre. It is also partially in charge of approving termination systems. But there is no Space Force presence at SpaceX’s Texas plant, so the Federal Aviation Administration has a bigger involvement there.
A rocket’s termination system can be activated for a variety of reasons, including loss of thrust, unexpected acceleration, component failures, off-course trajectories, and more, according to Abhi Tripathi, director of mission operations at the Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley.
Like everyone else, I could see numerous engines were out, so at that time, some software trigger also stated, “Sorry, don’t have enough power to fly to space anymore,” Tripathi said. “I’m daring to believe it already didn’t have enough thrust even before FTS kicked in since, like everyone else, I could see several engines were out.
