EVOLUTION OF TESLA IN 30 SECONDS
Tesla Motors has taken the battery and electric vehicle market by storm ever since its founding in 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Under the leadership of Elon Musk after joining the company in 2004, Tesla unveiled the prototype for its first car, the Roadster in 2006, and the final production model was launched in 2008. This was an amazing achievement for the young company. From there, Tesla designed a world-class premium all-electric sedan, the Model S after which it ventured into the sustainable energy sector by developing power walls, powerpack, and solar roofs. In 2015, the company expanded its offer with Model X, Model 3 was introduced in 2017, Model Y in march of 2019, and the Cyber truck later in 2019. The second-generation Roadster is expected to enter production in 2022.
