Most people don’t know this — I didn’t before reading this book — but yeast infections are nearly as common in men as in women. This book is a comprehensive look at all types of yeast/candida infections men could have internally or externally. This is not a pleasant book, but it’s a necessary one for many man experiencing symptoms that could indicate a yeast infection.
My only nit to pick is the description of one of the natural remedies, coconut oil. Pure virgin coconut is not all rancid or unpleasant – it is barely oily. It’s milky white and does taste like coconut in a good way. It’s easy to add to salad dressings or simply to drink down.
I’d also add that despite this book’s emphasis on eating yogurt, most commercial brands don’t have active acidopholus cultures. Buy from a healthfood store. You can also grow your own easily.
But you’d also want to take a probiotics supplement. The best ones are kept refrigerated at your health food store.
