MyPillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell filed a lawsuit Wednesday to prevent Verizon from handing over his phone records to the House January 6th Inquisition.
The lawsuit is aimed at Nancy Pelosi and the committee itself after their attempts to obtain Lindell’s phone records from November 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021 to see what role, if any, he played in the riot.
As reported by BizPacReview, Lindell isn’t the only one countersuing.
Sebastian Gorka also filed a lawsuit Tuesday to block a subpoena for his phone records. Gorka said that the committee is overstepping its authority, and argues he was not asked to answer any questions or produce additional documents.
“Dr. Gorka was not a member or leader of any organization that sponsored any events on January 6, and was not present at the Capitol on that day,” his lawyer argued.
